At first light, before the mist lifts off the hills, our pluckers walk the same rows their grandmothers walked. Only two leaves and a bud — nothing coarse, nothing rushed. It is slower work, and it is the only way we know.

Every consignment is traced back to a single estate in Assam and the Darjeeling foothills, sourced directly from families we have bought from for three generations.

Chapter Two — The Journey

Freshness Delivered

Within two days of plucking, sealed crates leave the estate in temperature-controlled transport. Each lot is cupped and cleared by our tasters before it moves, and again before it is packed — so the cup you brew tastes the way the garden smelled.
